GEORGE'S NEW CD / DVD!

Born and raised in Louisiana, master guitarist George Baker has been performing his unique gumbo of R&B and jazz in Connecticut since moving there in 1985.

George's new CD/DVD "Mojo Lady," features 10 exciting songs, and is available now online.

A favorite spot to catch George is at Cafe Nine in New Haven (corner of State and Crown streets). There he is a frequent host of the Saturday afternoon jazz jams, and "The George Baker Experience" performs at least one weekend night each month.

You can also see Guitar George on TV every Wednesday. The half-hour show airs on cable channel BET Jazz at 10:30 a.m., 6:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., and features five songs from the DVD "Live from the Club at Blue Palm."
